Flags of Valor’s mission is to employ and empower American veterans, energize American manufacturing and give back to our communities. Since early on, DeWALT has been an important partner in helping us carry out this mission. They’ve given us truckloads of their tough, Made in America tools and equipment to help our craftsmen do more, faster. They’ve also given us the mentorship of their engineering experts and of DeWALT Vice President, Jon Howland. A veteran himself, Jon forged a deep connection with our people and how we share DeWALT’s commitment to serving and honoring American veterans.
Now, DeWALT has surpassed even the extraordinary level of donations the company has made to small businesses, charities and communities for almost 100 years by launching its Join the Salute Campaign.
With their Join the Salute program, DeWALT's mission—like our own—is to raise awareness in support of veterans, veteran-owned companies and the charities that support them. Flags of Valor is proud to join with Wounded Warrior Project in being part of DeWALT's Join the Salute Campaign, honoring America’s heroes and supporting our veterans as they transition back to civilian life.
